Hecksher, one of the world’s oldest and most reputable shipping companies, proudly announces its acquisition of the majority stake in TCT AB (Trelleborgs Combi Transports AB), a Swedish transport specialist recognized for its strong focus on road freight solutions. This strategic move reinforces Hecksher’s position, marking a key step in its strategy to expand its services across various transportation modes.
Expanding its presence on the road
With a legacy of excellence in sea and air freight, Hecksher is now expanding its capabilities by integrating TCT AB’s expertise in road transportation. The acquisition creates a more agile and comprehensive logistics network, empowering Hecksher to offer seamless, end-to-end solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs and demands of international and regional supply chains.

New leadership to drive success
As part of the acquisition, Mathias Kardos, a seasoned leader within TCT AB, will assume the role of Managing Director for TCT AB’s operations, based in Trelleborg.

Initially, TCT AB will retain its name, with a full rebranding under the Hecksher brand planned for the beginning of 2026.
