We are now expanding our operations by opening a new office in Fredericia. The expansion is a part of our long-term ambition to grow our business, strengthen our position in Denmark, and improve our services to our Danish customers and overseas partners.
New office in Fredericia to cater to logistics needs
The official opening of the Fredericia office took place on August 1, with Charlotte Gotfredsen being appointed as the Operational Manager. With a vision to cultivate growth and carve new paths for the company, she is poised to lead the Fredericia office.
– I’m excited to develop and grow this office together with my colleagues, expand our services, and connect with new customers. This is a great opportunity to cater to the increased need for optimised logistics solutions in Denmark and overseas.
Erik Pedersen, Managing Director of Hecksher Denmark, emphasised the strategic significance and the importance of proximity to customers.
– This expansion brings us closer to our customers and Jutland’s business hub. It is a strategic step toward our ambition to grow in Denmark. It will strengthen our foothold domestically and enhance customer experiences both locally and internationally.
Denmark – an important logistics market
The expansion is not just a pragmatic move – it also embodies our homage to our roots. With this new addition, we have two thriving offices in Denmark – one in Copenhagen and one in Fredericia. This aligns perfectly with our historical narrative, which began in Denmark in 1797 when Samuel Siegfried Hecksher founded the company.
Today, with over 220 years of experience in the shipping industry, Hecksher stands as one of the oldest still active shipping companies, radiating experience and commitment.
