As we close the chapter on 2025, we look back on a year marked by strong progress, growth, and continued commitment to developing smarter and more sustainable logistics solutions. Across new markets, new offices, acquisitions, and emission reduction solutions, Hecksher has taken major steps forward—together with our employees, partners, and customers.
Here is our wrap-up of the key milestones that shaped 2025.
Expanding our global footprint
New offices in Poland
This year, we proudly launched our new offices in Poland, strengthening our presence in Central Europe. The expansion enables us to offer more road service and warehouse solutions to our customers across the region.
Hecksher acquires TCT
A significant highlight of 2025 was the acquisition of TCT (Trelleborg Combi Transport.) This strategic move enhances our service portfolio and broadens our operational capabilities within road freight in specific.
New offices in Luleå & Skellefteå
In Sweden, we continued to grow our northern presence with new branches in Luleå and Skellefteå. These offices strengthen our ability to serve customers with local expertise all over Sweden.
Entering a new market: Singapore
Our new presence in Singapore, one of the world’s most dynamic logistics hubs, marks Hecksher’s entry into Southeast Asia, creating new opportunities for global connectivity and customer reach.
Growing our team
With our expanding network, our team has grown significantly. During 2025, we increased from 50 employees to 105, adding new colleagues across multiple countries. Their expertise and dedication continue to be the foundation of Hecksher’s success. Our eNPS score of 70 highlights just how engaged and motivated our people are — a remarkable result that reinforces the strength of our culture and the commitment of our teams.
Driving sustainability in logistics
2025 was also a breakthrough year in our journey toward sustainable logistics solutions. We introduced several initiatives supporting emission-reduced transport options.
Shipping Made Fossil Free – Maritime Biofuel Insets
We introduced the Shipping Made Fossil Free concept, giving customers the opportunity to reduce emissions from ocean transport through Maritime Biofuel Insets.
Launch of SAFc – Sustainable Aviation Fuel Certificatess
For air freight customers, we launched access to Sustainable Aviation Fuel Certificates (SAFc). By integrating SAF options into our offering, we help reduce CO₂ emissions from air cargo and support the aviation sector’s transition to more sustainable alternatives.
Fuel Switch Route
Another key initiative this year was the rollout of Fuel Switch Route, enabling customers to ship LCL cargo from Shanghai to Gothenburg powered by maritime biofuel insets per default. This solution gives customers a straightforward way to reduce their emissions of shipping without added cost or any operational changes.
Customer survey
We conducted our annual customer survey to better understand what we do well and where we can improve. We are proud to share that we achieved an NPS score of 68,4, reflecting strong customer satisfaction and trust.
The survey results have highlighted key areas that are important and highly valued by you, which we will prioritize in our efforts to further improve our services. The highlighted areas include:
- Customer service quality
- Operational reliability (disruptions)
- Faster email responses
We are grateful for all the feedback and will continue working closely with our customers to deliver even greater service in 2026.
Looking ahead
2025 has been a year of meaningful expansion, innovation, and sustainability progress for Hecksher. As we move into 2026, we remain committed to strengthening partnerships, driving continued growth, elevating our service offering, and accelerating our transition toward more sustainable logistics solutions.
Thank you to all employees, customers, and partners for making this year exceptional. We look forward to continuing the journey together.
