Hecksher Denmark A/S has acquired 100 percent of the shares in Fairplay Shipping A/S, a Danish freight forwarding and shipping company with 13 employees.
The acquisition broadens Hecksher’s service offering in Denmark and strengthens its position in specialist logistics. It also supports Hecksher’s ambition to provide reliable and flexible logistics solutions through strong local knowledge and an international network.
Fairplay Shipping adds specialist expertise to Hecksher in Denmark
Fairplay Shipping A/S serves customers across a wide range of industries and brings specialist expertise in healthcare logistics, fine art transport, project cargo, air freight and warehouse operations.
By becoming part of Hecksher, Fairplay Shipping joins one of the world’s oldest shipping companies, with a long-standing heritage and a global logistics network. Together, the companies will be able to offer customers broader expertise and more specialized support in Denmark.
All employees at Fairplay Shipping will continue in their current roles, ensuring continuity for customers, partners and suppliers. Jeanet Hedegaard will remain Managing Director for the time being and continue to lead daily operations during the integration process.
