We would like to inform our customers of ongoing border delays between Turkey and Bulgaria.

Heavy congestion at the Kapıkule–Kapitan Andreevo border crossing between Turkey and Bulgaria is affecting road transport in both directions. Ongoing reconstruction of the Bulgarian border facilities and high traffic volumes are contributing to delays.

We also regret having to announce that Hungarian transit permits distributed at Kapıkule have also run out. No date has yet been announced for distribution to resume.

These circumstances may affect planned departures and delivery times. Hecksher is monitoring developments and keeping affected customers informed. Please allow for longer lead times when planning upcoming shipments.

For questions about your shipment, please contact your usual Heckshers representative.
